Are there any health concerns?
Food-grade disposable aluminum pans are safe and can withstand oven temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). However, avoid using aluminum foil trays with highly acidic foods like lemon or rhubarb, as they may react with the aluminum and cause discoloration or leaching of aluminum into the food.
Do aluminum pans melt in the oven?
As for melting, it's highly unlikely to occur in a regular oven since aluminum's melting point is 1220°F (660°C), which is much higher than typical baking temperatures.
Is it microwave safe?
Although some brands claim that aluminum trays are microwave-safe if they don't touch the sides, it's generally not recommended. Microwaves cannot penetrate the sides of the container, resulting in uneven heating of the food.
