No. These are specialized "Pruning" blades made of Chrome Vanadium (CR-V) for fast wood cutting. If you hit metal or nails, the teeth may dull or break. You need Bi-Metal blades for nail-embedded wood.
How thick of a log can this cut?
With a 15-inch length, you can comfortably cut logs up to about 12 inches (300mm) in diameter.
Are these good for dry firewood?
Yes, the aggressive 6 TPI design works great on both wet green wood and dry seasoned firewood.
Why are the teeth different from normal blades?
These use a "Japanese" tooth profile (triple ground), which is much sharper and cuts faster than standard demolition teeth, but is specifically meant for wood only.
